Aston Martin Launches Vantage launch
Aston Martin has earlier launched the DB11 in India back in 2016 and now has plans to increase production so as to increase their presence in the country in the next few years. The all-new Vantage gets a full design makeover and also shares its underpinnings with the flagship DB11.
Bookings for the Vantage have begun with deliveries commencing in the next few months.
The new Vantage is slated to be more powerful owing to a lighter body structure. The design is heavily inspired by the flagship DB11 and the hypercar Vulcan.
The subframes for the Vantage on the front and rear are newly designed. The Vantage also gets a new aero kit which channels the airflow under the car.
The Vantage also gets a front splitter which directs airflow towards the rear diffuser.
With a ground clearance of 122mm, Aston says the Vantage can be used as a daily driver.
On the interior, the Vantage has been revamped. The center console now houses a new touchscreen display unit which is ergonomical.
There are three driving modes available - Sport, Sport+, and Track with adjustable suspension.
The Vantage comes powered by an AMG-sourced 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 which has been tuned to produce 503bhp of peak power and 685Nm of peak torque.
8-speed transmission with paddleshifters. The Vantage has acceleration from 0-100kmph in 3.5 seconds.
The Vantage has a claimed top-speed 315kmph.
